Paid Up Options
Instead of paying premiums for the rest of your life we also offer policies that can be "paid up" in 3, 5, 7, 10 or 20 years...meaning the premiums stop but your policy stays in force.
We don't care if you buy a policy...
Obviously, we care about you...but we don't care if you buy a policy or not. We'll discuss your options, make recommendations & answer all of your questions, but we'll never pester or hound you.

Buying life insurance is a personal decision, any & all information you share with your agent is 100% private...we NEVER share your information or discuss your case with any outside parties.
We don't care how much you spend
We have small town values & we're going to give you the same attention, service & respect whether the plan you select is $10 a month or $500 a month.

- Policies for business owners to cover buy/sell agreements, estate taxes & other liabilities
- Return of premium life...if you die your beneficiaries get the death benefit, if you live you get all of your premiums returned after 15, 20 or 30 years (depending on the policy you select)

Pat began his career in life insurance 35 years ago in 1984 right out of college, working as the office manager for a small locally owned independent insurance agency. Since that time Laker Planning Service has grown to nearly $30 million per year in annual premiums & has independent representatives in 8 different states. He & his wife Heidi have been married for 24 years & have 4 children, the oldest 2 are in college and the youngest two are still at home in Decatur. Their "social life" revolves around their kids' activities, extended family members, friends & church. Pat excels at public speaking and can cover a wide variety of topics & end of life concerns for your small group, civic, church or other organizations. Veterans burial benefits, funeral & cremations, Medicaid spend downs & many other different subjects are available.
